The BUCCANEER ALUMNI ASSOCIATION's mission is to continue the long standing traditions of the Reading Buccaneers bringing superb musicality, professionalism and outstanding musicians together to keep Drum & Bugle Corps alive.
BUCCANEER ALUMNI ASSOCIATION was founded 1982 to help the DCA Reading Buccaneers continue to grow, maintain a community presence and support the local Drum Corps efforts. In 1987, the BUCS ALUMNI CORPS began performing in the greater Reading Area in parades and concerts.
Reading PA has been home of the Reading Buccaneers since their founding in 1957. The BUCCANEER ALUMNI ASSOCIATION concentrates it's efforts on performances in the greater Reading area.
We have members who performed in the Reading Buccaneers, other Drum Corps, local bands and other musicians who just want to keep the music alive. Our member's ages currently range from 18 to 92!
Steeped in a tradition known as the "BALACE IN BLUE", the Bucs Alumni continue to play some of the most diverse musical selections available including classical, pop, rock, ballet, hymns and jazz.
The BUCCANEER ALUMNI looks to continue to present the greater Reading area with quality Drum & Bugle Corps performances with Parades, Concerts and Memorial Service. We look forward to bringing musicians of every age together to continue their musical journey.
